Egiki
A side-on arena shooter, everyone for themselves. Nine weapons, launch pads, teleporters, and a split screen for friends on one computer.
Eight fighters, one arena seen from the side, and nobody on anyone's team. Run, jump, drop down through ledges, ride the launch pads and step through the teleporters — and keep off the spikes. Kills are the only score that counts.
Nine weapons, each with its own ammo: the pistol, which never runs dry, a machine gun, a burst rifle, a pump shotgun and a magazine shotgun, a laser rifle, grenades and mines you hold to throw harder, and a missile launcher. Shoot into a teleporter and the shot comes out of the other side.
Up to four people on one computer. One plays on keyboard and mouse and the rest on controllers, Xbox or PlayStation, and the screen splits so each has their own view. The prompts name your controller's own buttons.
Egiki is still being built. In the browser now are the first stage, still in grey blocks, all nine weapons and the full movement. The bots are training dummies that stand still until their AI is written. Online play comes next: host a match, read out the code, and friends anywhere join it from their own browser. A Windows version follows.
